Synopsis
The Jungle Book
Lost in the heart of the jungle, a young child named Mowgli wanders into the den of two wolves, who take pity on him and decide to raise him as their own. But life in the jungle is harsh for a man cub, and he has a lot of lessons to learn if he is to survive. Various animal friends help him in his struggles, including Bagheera, the wise panther, and Baloo, the laid back bear.
Lovers of the classic film version of Jungle Book will learn more about the story of how an innocent child wins the heart of some of the jungle’s fiercest creatures, escapes from jealous enemies and survives day to day perils by the skin of his teeth. But can Mowgli stay with his friends forever? Kipling’s tale is a fable of all human life and the difficulties of growing up.
