Synopsis
Iniciada a finales del siglo XIX, la basílica de la Sagrada Familia no solamente es el símbolo más característico de la ciudad de Barcelona y una obra capital de Antoni Gaudí, sino también uno de los edificios más significativos de la arquitectura religiosa moderna, que integra armoniosamente los aspectos técnicos, estéticos y espirituales.
Este libro contiene imágenes inéditas de gran espectacularidad, especialmente del trabajo realizado durante los últimos treinta años, y unos textos firmados por reconocidos especialistas en la obra de Gaudí que explican la vinculación con la ciudad de este templo expiatorio –que el papa Benedicto XVI dedicó en noviembre del 2010 y al que otorgó el título de Basílica Menor– sus valores artísticos, su rico simbolismo cristiano y las aportaciones artesanas y técnicas que han contribuido a hacer realidad este monumento declarado Patrimonio Mundial de la Humanidad por la Unesco.

About the Author
Diago Manuel Quevedo Castillo nació en Nuevo Chimbote (Perú) el 17 de julio de 1998. Estudió en la UCV, en donde obtuvo el grado de licenciado en Ciencias de la Comunicación. Desde ese entonces, incluso unos años antes, le fascinó la lectura para plasmar su imaginación en la escritura y la magia. Y aunque solo creyó que se convertiría en unas cuantas páginas, con su perseverancia y amor a la escritura, decidió apostar por una carrera literaria. Actualmente, Diago continúa escribiendo. Pues cree firmemente que con un lápiz y un papel se puede volar a donde sea.
