Amancio Prada has put some of Spain s poetic tradition to music; his songs about poems of San Juan de la Cruz, Rosalia de Castro, Federico Garcia Lorca, Alvaro Cunqueiro, and many others. In "Emboscados," originally released as an album in 1994, Prada makes his most personal musical offering yet: a timeless and intimate epic, a song with nostalgia for the future. This edition, the first that combines a book and CD, has been musically revised by the author and features illustrations and a glossary by Juan Carlos Mestre."
