About the Author

Norman Berdichevsky is a native New Yorker currently living in Santiago de la Ribera(Murcia), Spain. He holds a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Wisconsin-Madison 1974) and is the author of "The Danish-German Border Dispute" (Academica Press,2002), and "Nations,Language and Citizenship" (McFarland Publishing 2004). He is one of the contributors to Best Jewish Writing 2003 (Jossey-Bass,2004) and the author of 150 publications that have appeared in such journals as World Affairs,Midstream,Ariel & I, Ethnicity, Ecumene,Landscape Journal,Scandinavian Review, German Life, Israel Affairs and others.
