Instal·lat a París a principis del segle XX, Ramon Pichot (Barcelona, 1871 - París, 1925), que a Barcelona havia treballat amb Ramon Casas, Santiago Rusiñol, Joaquim Mir i Isidre Nonell, va viure l'ambient bohemi i artístic de Montmartre. El viatge iniciàtic a París era freqüent en molts artistes, però Pichot s'hi va quedar i allí va morir. Es va integrar a la colònia d'artistes i intel·lectuals catalans i espanyols, va conèixer i rebre influències de corrents artístics postimpressionistes i fauvistes, va participar en nombrosos certàmens internacionals, com a la sala de l'escàndol dels fauves, i va contactar amb mecenes i marxants. Settled in Paris at the beginning of the 20th century, Ramon Pichot (Barcelona, ??1871 - Paris, 1925), who in Barcelona had worked with Ramon Casas, Santiago Rusiñol, Joaquim Mir and Isidre Nonell, experienced the bohemian and artistic atmosphere of Montmartre. The initiatory trip to Paris was common for many artists, but Pichot stayed there and died there. He joined the colony of Catalan and Spanish artists and intellectuals, met and received influences from post-impressionist and fauvist artistic movements, participated in numerous international competitions, such as the Sala de l'Escandol dels Fauves, and contacted patrons and dealers.
