Synopsis
Los principales temas a tratar en esta obra son el amor, las mentiras y el engaño quedando en segundo lugar la lealtad, la dignidad. Calisto, un joven noble apuesto y de preclaro ingenio, penetra persiguiendo a un halcón en la huerta donde se halla a Melibea, de quien queda profundamente enamorado. Ante el rechazo de ésta y aconsejado por su criado Sempronio, decide encomendar su cuidado a Celestina, para lograr por medio de ella el amor de Melibea.
