About the Author

Joanna Crowson was born in Yorkshire, but in 1990, in a spirit of adventure, she left Britain with her partner and their 2 children aged 1 and 5 in an ancient land rover called Lilly. They bought land on the Costa de la Luz, founded a cooperative language school and self-built Casa Gaia, their ecological home. After a recent spell in the UK, where she worked as Centre Manager for a circus school in a church and did an MSc in Responsibility and Business Practice, she returned to Spain where she lives in Cádiz with her family, which now includes various dogs, cats, chickens and voluntary workers.

Joanna is a writer, translator, and teacher within the Blue Lineage of Toltec shamanism, and for the last 10 years she has been leading workshops, sweatlodges and other ceremonies, mostly in Spain, and has developed her own simple, joyful style. She is one of the founders of the Gaia Spirit festival, working towards building a sustainable culture and community.

Silja Winther was born in Oslo from Norwegian/Finnish parents with Karelian blood in her veins. She is a qualified Biopath (Scandinavian School of Biopathy, Copenhagen) and a graduate in Comparative Religion and Psychology from the University of Oslo, She has been leading personal growth and spiritual development courses for the last 20 years, and is very much demand as a course leader in both Norway and Spain. For the last fifteen years she has been working with the specific Energies presented in The Star of 13 on the retreats and workshops she leads. She is the founder of School of Life, an international educational charity based in Spain. She has been channelling since she was a child, and is a Priestess in the Ministry of Fun.

Artist's Bio

Katrina Vrebalovich is the daughter of Norwegian/American parents, with Slavic blood. She studied at Parsons School of Design in NYC where for some time she had her own wearable art gallery. She has worked as a painter for many years, holding exhibitions in many different places in the world. She considers herself to be an interpreter of cultures, places and history. She channels her work through her great desire to encourage identity and self worth, and her intent has always been directed to healing. She has been involved in many fascinating projects linking Egypt with the West, including exhibitions, events, films and the placing of a pyramid in the most northerly point of Norway, in line with the Great Pyramid of Cheops. Katrina has lived in Britain, the States, Belgium, Egypt and Norway, and this multicultural background gives rise to her colourful expression in her life and art.
