Elisenda Roca es periodista, escritora y directora teatral. Ha dirigido, producido y presentado programas de radio y televisión. Estudió Ciencias de la Información en la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. Ha sido vicedecana del Colegio de Periodistas de Cataluña y directora de la productora de audiovisuales Paraula. Formó parte del jurado del premio literario Lletra d'Or. Ha trabajado para medios como Antena 3 o TVE, donde destacó en el programa Cifras y Letras, además de TV3 o COM Ràdio. Ha publicado cuentos para niños, álbumes ilustrados y pop-up, novelas para jóvenes y un libro divulgativo. Después de dedicarse durante unos años a la enseñanza, se centró en la profesión de ilustradora. Galardonada con el Premio Nacional de Ilustración del Ministerio de Cultura.

She has published stories for children, illustrated and pop-up albums, novels for young people and an informative book. After dedicating herself for a few years to teaching, she focused on the profession of illustrator.
