Ivar Wangensteen is a professor of electrical engineering at the Department of Electrical Power Engineering at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway. He has a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from NTNU and a M.Sc. in economy from the University of Oslo. He is a scientific adviser at SINTEF Energy Research.
