About the Authors
Samir Dey is an author and educator in the field of data science and artificial intelligence. He co-authored Data Science for Beginners with Dibyendu Banerjee and Sourav Kairi, a practical introductory guide published by PHI Learning that aims to make data science accessible to students, professionals, and self-learners.
Dibyendu Banerjee is a Data Scientist and AI–ML professional with more than 20 years of industry experience in data engineering, analytics, and artificial intelligence. As a Senior Architect at a global technology organization, he has led large-scale digital transformation initiatives and end-to-end data science projects, helping organizations solve complex business challenges through scalable, data-driven solutions.
Sourav Kairi is a software engineer and AI–ML professional with expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science. He holds an M.Tech in Data and Computational Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur and works at a leading Tier-1 IT company, where he develops AI-powered and data-driven solutions for real-world applications.
