Renny Thomas is Assistant Professor of Sociology and Social Anthropology at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal, India and Taki Visiting Global Professor at New York University, New York.

Sasanka Perera is Chairman at Colombo Institute for Human Sciences, Sri Lanka and former Professor of Sociology at University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and South Asian University, New Delhi, India.
