Shibu's desperate prayer to Maa Kali didn’t quite go as planned. Instead of taking his wife, Maa Kali claimed Shibu himself! Now, Shibu haunts the ghostly Bhusandir Mathe, residing atop a bald bael tree as a restless spirit.
But, can someone’s nature change even after death? True to his character, Shibu ends up falling for a witch! To complicate things further, his ever-determined wife, Nrityakali, tracks him down, even in death, and arrives at Bhusandir Mathe.
What chaos will unfold next? What will be Shibu’s fate? How will the curtains fall on the comical drama of Bhusandir Mathe?
Rajshekhar Basu, the legendary Bengali humorist, known for his inimitable wit and storytelling brilliance, brings his unmatched humor to life in this timeless classic. Through this edition, Patra Bharati humbly presents ‘Bhusandir Mathe’ in modern language, ensuring it remains as delightful and uproarious for today’s readers as it was for generations past!
