About the Authors

Peter Murphy is an environmental archaeologist and author, best known for his work on England’s coastal heritage and environmental change. He served as Coastal Strategy Officer in English Heritage’s Maritime Archaeology Team and has written extensively on coastal zone management and environmental archaeology.



Benham Ta’i is an environmental author who co‑wrote Environmental Impact Assessment: An Indo‑Australian Perspective (2007) with Peter Murphy and P. S. Rana, published by Bookwell (New Delhi).
