Fireflies is a collection of 253 brief poems by the famed Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore, recipient of the 1913 Nobel Prize for Literature. Originating in China and Japan, and often written on fans and bits of silk, they are here wonderfully illustrated in black and white by Alberta Hutchinson.

About the Author
Alberta Hutchinson is a prolific artist, poet and author. Among her thousands of creations include portraits, illustrated books, design books, Christmas and Easter ornaments, quilts, and fabrics. She published a novel, "Step by Step," in 2011, illustrated a children's book, "The Orphan and the Christmas Tree," also published in 2011, and her illustrated poetry book, "Songs of Symmetry," is being published in 2012. Several of her mandala design books have been published by Dover Press.
