Talking about the book, R .K Rajput is the best author when it comes to Mechanical Engineering.For him teaching was a passion.But the way he writes a text is an art.Be it exam mode cramming or for knowledge building, you have the right choice. The information and theory are rightly clubbed together, compared and contrasted, enormous number of solved problems and examples citation. The book has the latest updates too. In engineering perspective this book may take a step back as its presentation style favours diploma students and ITI students more. About the Author

A multi-disciplinary engineer, R. K. Rajput, holds his masters degree from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, with a gold medal in Mechanical Engineering.
