About the Author

Zakir H Patel obtained his MB ChB (Hons) from University of Manchester in 2000. He has experience in medicine, surgery, ICU, Obs & Gyn, A&E and general practice. He was trained at Manchester University, which conducts the pioneering course in OSCE. After passing his MACP exams, he has acquired experience in teaching to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Also, he has experience in PLAB training. His paper has been published by British Heart Foundation. He has done extensive research in the field of cardiothoracic surgery and diseases in Asian communities. Tauseef Azim and Arif Dasu have contributed extensively to the development of this student-friendly presentation.
