Synopsis

The third edition of the book is now presented incorporating the essential changes required in the text matter in most of the chapters conforming to the revised Indian Standard Code IS : 456-2000. The new revised code emphasises the importance of Limit State Design Philosophy for reinforced concrete structural elements while the traditional working stress design is incorporated in the Annexure-B of the new code.
