About the Author
A grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, Ramchandra Gandhi holds doctoral degrees from Oxford and from Delhi Universities, and is the author of four other books. He is now Professor of Philosophy at the University of Hyderabad, and has been Professor of Comparative Religion at Visva-Bharati University and Haridas Chaudhuri Professor of South Asian and Comparative Philosophy at the California Institute of Integral Studies.
