About the Author

R. B. KHANNA, a former Colonel in the Indian Army, is currently Professor at the Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM), Jaipur. He has also been Professor at Institute of Certified Management Accountants of India (ICMAI), Jaipur; Visiting Faculty in the Department of Management Studies at IIT Roorkee; and Professor and Dean (Academics) at Institute of Management Studies, Roorkee. A fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India) and an alumnus of Defence Services Staff College, Col Khanna has also served as Director, Financial Planning at Army Headquarters, New Delhi; Senior Professor and Head of Computers Department at College of Military Engineering, Pune; and Senior Professor and Head of Operations Research at College of Defence Management, Secunderabad. Col Khanna is the author of three other books and several papers and articles.
