Earlier, he was Professor and Head, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore. He has several years of experience of teaching power electronics to undergraduate and postgraduate students. His areas of interest include modelling and simulation of electrical machines and applications of power electronics to electrical drives.
