Synopsis
The computing world has undergone a revolution since the publication of the first edition of the C Programming Language. During this time, the C language has changed and spread beyond its origins as the language of the UNIX operating system. This second edition provides a more comprehensive and contemporary definition of the C language as defined by the ANSI standard_the "ANSI C". The most striking change relates to the new form of function declaration and definition. It is primarily meant to help the reader to learn how to program in C.

About the Author
Ritchie Dennis M was a Computer Engineer who co-founded the C Programming language. He has also authored the book Unix Programmer s Manual (1971). Ritchie Dennis M got his PhD from Harvard. He has won the Turing Award and the National Medal of Technology. Kernighan Brian W Kernighan Brian W was a computer scientist with Bell Labs. He co-founded the C Programming language. He got his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University.
