Synopsis
在大学教育中，线性代数是理工、金融、管理等众多专业必修的一门重要基础课程。不仅因为它的理论与方法遍及自然科学、工程技术以及经济学等多个领域，有着应用的广泛性，而且从人才素质培养方面来讲，也是不可或缺的。线性代数的基本概念、基本理论和基本方法具有较强的逻辑性、抽象性，这些特点恰恰又使一些初学者望而生畏《应用线性代数》是为普通高等院校，特别是应用型本科院校所编写的。考虑到实际的授课对象，我们在编写过程中，在遵循本学科系统性与科学性的前提下，内容选择尽量少而精，概念的引入、理论的展开、篇章的过渡，尽可能从学生熟知的实例出发，并选择恰当的切入点，由浅人深，循序渐进，融会贯通。《应用线性代数》充分注意到应用型本科学生的发展要求，既重视理论基础，又注重实际应用，对于较难的理论证明作了适当的弱化处理，代之以通俗直观的举例或类比加以说明。
