Synopsis
Running script is a style between regular script and cursive script. It has been popular since Dong Han dynasty due to its pretty form, easy and fast to write and easy to learn. Running script is used widely in Song dynasty and many calligraphers appeared such as the four family in Song including Su Shi, Huang Tingjian, Mi Fu and Cai Xiang. They left many great works to later generations.
