Synopsis
策彦周良（1501－1579）为日本战国时代禅宗（临济宗）僧人。于1537、1547年先后两次被委任为副使及正使赴明。他曾将两次入明经过，逐日写成《初渡记》、《再渡记》，成为日本遣明使的宝贵资料，但迄今中日学者研究者甚少。《策彦周良入明史迹考察记及研究/中国社会科学院老学者文库》的笔者夏应元、夏琅依据策彦的记录，于2001、2003年，沿京杭大运河作实地考察，并依据史实，把他的事迹与圆仁、成寻及其他历次遣明使的经过，作比较研究，从水运、朝贡、交涉、礼仪、文学、宗教诸方面，作了进一步的阐明。
