About the Authors

Allstar Weekend on Allstar Weekend

ZACHARY PORTER, lead vocals

Cameron: "Where do we start with Zach? Zach is definitely a man on a mission. He knows what he wants, and because he's a hard worker and a very good guy, he can definitely get his way. He's the go-to guy. If I ever have a problem or don't know what's going on, I will go straight to Zach, because he's on top of his game at all times. On top of that he's a great friend, he's a great person, and he really does care about people. Fans definitely see that. I think that's one of the reasons why everyone loves him. Zach does has a shell that you have to break down. But once you break that shell, man, he's sometimes even crazier than the rest of us. It takes like maybe 60 seconds to get past his shell."

CAMERON QUISENG, bass

Nathan: "Cameron has a million-dollar personality. He steps in a room and he shines. Truly he's a great friend and he's a great addition to the band. He's into a lot of great things that I'm into as well. He likes surfing and he's very athletic. We have similar music tastes. We both love Mexican food, which is definitely a plus."

Michael: "He can be shy at times. He loves girls. Not just girls, but people in general. Sometimes he's afraid to speak up, but if they saw Cameron as he really is, he's the sweetest guy. He's also really funny, and really weird. I think a lot of people would like to see his weird side, because it's really genuine. Everyone's weird, and some people try to hide it, but Cameron is just weird all the time. What everyone does when they're alone--he's that, out in public."

Zach: "I think his naļvete is his strongest trait. He looks out to the world fearlessly, whether or not he knows better, and he's happy. There's a spark of life that makes people attracted to him and makes him an interesting and exciting person."

MICHAEL MARTINEZ, drums

Michael (about himself): "He's a great guy. I mean, he's one of the most amazing people I've met. He's really attractive, in all areas..."

Cameron: "As you can see, he's the class clown of the group. Usually it's the lead singer of a group that's really far out there, but it's definitely the drummer in our case. He's a crazy guy. He's probably the funniest guy I think I've ever met. Fifty percent of the time, it's me that he's making fun of... but I still laugh."

Zach: "If anybody were going to be a stand-up comedian, it would definitely be Michael."

Cameron: "He's also a really talented musician. He's been playing drums for a long time. I have a feeling that he's going to be an R&B solo artist--probably in the next two weeks, maybe three. He's been in the studio (working on his own stuff) for a long time now... I've never met a person like Michael Martinez in my entire life. Great guy. If you want to have a good time and have a smile on your face all day, I'd highly recommend hanging out with Michael. He's the opposite of reserved."

Michael: "I think I'm reserved."

Cameron: "If you're reserved, I'm non-existent."

NATHAN DAMODY, lead guitar

Cameron: "There are so many different aspects of the boy we call Nathan. First off, he's the most athletic in the group. He will beat you at any sport, and pretty much anything--even videogames."

Zach: "But he doesn't act like an athlete, at all."

Cameron: "No. Nathan is definitely an artist, and he acts like an artist, like a painter or something. He's a very talented musician on the guitar. Also, he's very good at judging people, and observant. And like Michael, he's very funny. The two of them together is explosive--you might want to stay away. Nathan and Michael both have a way with the ladies. Ladies are usually really stoked to hang out with Nathan and Michael. Zach and I are a little more reserved when it comes to talking to girls. Nathan and Michael, they don't hold back."
