To improve growth rates and living conditions for the population, numerous programs have been developed and implemented by the government of Burkina Faso. The PCESA is one of the Category 1 projects being implemented from 2013 to 2020. Financed by Danish cooperation, it stimulates and facilitates productive investment - both private and public - in the agricultural sector, with the main aim of helping to create accelerated growth in the selected sub-sectors. In short, the PCESA sets itself challenges such as capacity building, financing agricultural activities, supporting the institutional framework and building infrastructure to benefit local authorities.
