The most common tumors in ruminants are lymphoma, leukemia, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma. Some of the more common tumors, such as lymphoma and squamous cell carcinoma, are better documented. It is an important tool for the diagnosis of cancer. It is therefore the confirmatory examination of tumors. Usually, immunohistochemistry is the most common histological examination. Necropsy can be used to diagnose tumors. It is a post-mortem examination of an animal to determine the cause of death or assess pathological conditions. It is the ultimate diagnostic fate of most experimental animals.
