This work presents a self-sustainable business model for a Cultural Centre in the city of Tubarão, Santa Catarina, favouring the performing arts as its artistic language. The focus of the project is the application of a sustainability model aimed at independence from financiers, ensuring its growth and continuity. Through a survey of existing cultural organisations in the city, the unique value of the project was determined and its main benefits were highlighted. The planning is based on two case studies, the São João Marcos Archaeological and Environmental Park in Rio de Janeiro and the Sociedade Cultura Artística in Santa Catarina.
