In recent years the world has been undergoing many transformations, cities have been transforming, and megacities have been developing, and people have been regrouping in cities and slowly leaving our countryside. We are moving from humanity to urbanity. In search of improved services to the population, it is predicted that all cities in the 21st century will use app platforms, and transform themselves into a service-oriented society. This book addresses these concepts by integrating them into this new intelligent environment based on the massive use of Big Data, cloud computing, and AI techniques.This book presents the main consequences of these services and the roles of the main users and their impact on society, and aiming to explore the opportunities for digital innovations involving the conception of a Smart-City, proposing two practical case studies of a city connected through services, and solutions based on the use of AI using open source natural languages (Scratch and Python) and the Arduino prototyping platform.
