Security of the nodes in the MANET is always remaining a major concern due to its dynamic and open network nature. It is highly challenging to main security and node reliability due to frequent link loss between the intermediate nodes. It was observed that identifying trusted intermediate nodes is a major problem in MANET. Primarily all nodes in the network are considered as trusted but this belief with any assessment might cause major security issues. Existing MANET security mechanisms mostly focus on route security between sources to destination. But the cause of the vulnerability mostly rose from the individual nodes due to its internal or external attacks. So, it is highly important to propose solutions to predict and evaluate node behaviours to justify node trustiness.
