A randomized controlled trial was carried out to study effectiveness of McKenzie exercises on rounded shoulder posture and cervical mobility in non-specific neck pain participants aged between 20-40 years of both genders. 50 participants pre diagnosed with non-specific neck pain were divided into two groups, experimental group (McKenzie exercises) and control group (conventional exercises) using single blindedrandomized design. Participants were assessed for outcome measures usingpectoralis minor length, numerical pain rating scale, acromion to plinth distance, , cervical extension mobility. McKenzie and conventional were given for 6 session. Data was documented pre and post treatment which was analyzed using paired and unpaired ‘t’ test. Results concluded that both groups were statistically significant on decreasing acromion to plinth distance, reducing the pain intensity, increasing cervical mobility. However, McKenzie exercises group showed statistically significant change in pectoralis minor length but, there was statistical non-significant change of pectoralis minor length in conventional exercise group.
