In power system, radical rise of people is causing serious problem by increasing the power demand or load demand. This abrupt rise in the demand for load makes the system more overloaded which further leads to many problems such as instable and unsecure power system network. With the growing complexity of power system network, power system stability, specifically the transient stability is major concern for power system planning Engineers. Transient stability plays remarkable role in secure, stable and reliable power system operation. In this work, the transient stability analysis examined the two case studies i.e. Standard IEEE 5 and IEEE 14 bus systems describes the Pre-fault, During-fault, and Post-fault conditions for improvement of transient stability using Excitation–Governor control method which is the conventional method and DFACTS devices. The models AC7B exciter, WESGOV governor, PSSSH stabilizer with AVR, and DFACTS devices are used to boost the transient stability response for a multi-machine system.
