The Domestic pigeon (Columba livia domestica) live and raise their young ones only in residential areas in the readymade carton or wooden boxes which are specially designed and constructed by their owners to fix on the terrace, windows, or trees. The domestic pigeons are raised for commercial, food, and hobby purposes. None of the studies was attempted in the Blue Rock Pigeon so for in the Nilgiris region.
