The findings of this study will influence nursing education policy, nursing practices, recruitment of qualified nurse tutors in Colleges of Nursing and Midwifery. Nursing education is the key to good nursing care and healthy citizenry so the factors identified in this study should be taken into consideration to improve the quality of nursing education in Nigeria and globally.
