Synopsis

Abnormal uterine bleeding is the most common problem seen in patients attending the gynecology OPD. Incidence of AUB is 9 to 14%. Thyroid dysfunction causes broad spectrum of reproductive disorders and is one of the causes noted for abnormal uterine bleeding. Thyroid disorders are 10 times more common in women. Therefore, this study is to assess the menstrual and endometrial patterns in women with thyroid disorders.
