Synopsis

ATMA is registered society of the key stake holders working in agricultural sectors. It provides flexible working environment to all stake holders at district level to support the farmers need and interest through strategic plan. Farm School is one of the unique cafeterias where organizing farmer works as a ‘Teacher’. The present study was conducted in five districts of South Gujarat which were chosen as per the high numbers of Farm Schools. From each district 2 farm schools and from each farm school 10 beneficiaries were selected randomly which made the sample size 100. An Ex-post-facto research design was used for the study. The study revealed that the beneficiaries had favourable to highly favourable attitude towards Farm School and possessed medium level of role perception and role performance under this project hence, it is recommended that though ATMA is more likely among the farmers, proper motivational activities should carried out by ATMA to increase its efficiency.

Mr. Keyur Gardhariya has completed his M.Sc. Agriculture in Agricultural Extension from Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari. Presently he is perusing his Ph.D. in same university. He has an experience of 1 year and 7 months in Kisan Call Center and has worked as an SRF and JRF also. He is interested in working for betterment of farmers.
