This study examined academic staff demographic variables and quality service delivery in Universities in Cross River State, Nigeria. To achieve the purpose of the study, five research questions and five null hypotheses were formulated. Related literature was reviewed. Survey research design was adopted for the study. The study population comprised two thousand four hundred and eight (2408) academic staff. A total sample of three hundred and sixty (360) academic staff from two Universities was randomly selected for the study. Selection was done through simple random sampling technique. The instrument used for the data collection was questionnaire titled: Academic staff demographic variables and quality service delivery questionnaire (ASDVQSDQ). Data collected were subjected to statistical analysis using the one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and independent t-test analysis at 0.05 level of significance.
