In wireless sensor network, LEACH and PSO are famous clustering mechanisms. They elect clusters based on probability model. By this approach, they may reduce the network lifetime. The LEACH and PSO does not consider the distribution of sensor nodes and the energy remains of each node. In this book, I introduce a new approach for cluster based sensor networks using Evolutionary BAT algorithm, which aims to extend network lifetime and reduce the control overhead & improved the energy efficiency of the network for better convergence.
