This work is a practical experiment about, how microservices could help a small team in creating a bigger solution by dividing the features by domains. Creating a solution which could cover all needs from a customer could be very hard, especially if the team is small. By creating a monolithic no problems affect the team from the beginning on since the source code is known, but the project will be hard to maintain as the time passes by. Therefore, the migration to microservices was the method used to continue developing the Club Administration Software Package (CASP). CASP is an administrative solution for the Hundefreunde Wien-Umgebung [SSE] which should be expanded with features over time. This monolithic application was used for the experiment of migrating to microservices architecture and observe its impact on a small team. Nevertheless, the idea of dividing the project into small problems could help the team since their efforts are concentrated in one problem at a time. Another aspect presented by this thesis is DevOps and how it must be handled in order to not affect the development of the solution.
