Based on experimental results mathematical model was develop to predict the tensile shear and peel strength of weld joints. The developed model was validated with the confirmation test case experiment. Numerical optimization technique was applied to find out the optimal set of input parameters. About the Author

Dr. Lokesh Boriwal is currently serving as Executive in Research & Development Department at National Steel, India. He did his graduation from SATI Vidisha in 2009 and M. Tech from IIT, Roorkee in 2011 in Mechanical Engineering. He obtained his PhD form NIT Bhopal in 2017. He published several papers in international Journals
