Usually, the biosensors are used to detect a specific molecule of interest. In recent times, the hunt for the novel target by these biosensors has been used in the process like the discovery of drugs, receptors, quantifying the toxicity of pollutant and so on. Theoretically, it is possible to design the protein to obtain the desired type of protein biosensors having an affinity to novel target detection, and these can be done by either on generic based biosensors or on a novel protein altogether. In this context, the computational design procedure produces more reliable data which enhances the design of the protein. By implementing the strategies of molecular re-arrangement or design in the protein, it is possible to construct a novel biosensor.
