Synopsis

In the year 5612 C.Z. blood is the most precious commodity. Since a severe epidemic well three thousand years before, all people suffer from severe anemia from birth, i.e. anaemia, and need regular transfusions to survive. After centuries of chaos and barbarism, the empire has finally enacted the law of blood, giving all citizens equal access to the vital material. But some followers of the ancient faith oppose regulation.
Izu ('Crusader', 'Clockwerx'; text) and Mathieu Moreau (drawings) offer a spectacular SF drama in modern, Japanese-influenced look - with hints of milestones of the genre such as 'Dune' or 'Foundation'.
