Synopsis
For a good two years, a cosmic entity has threatened the civilizations of the Milky Way: it is the swarm, a collection of thousands of suns and planets, surrounded by a smithing screen that apparently has been traveling through the universe for eons. A wave of radiation precedes the formation that robs the intelligences of the Milky Way. Few prove immune, including Perry Rhodan. In their missions against the invaders, the Terrans learn more about the swarm, its history and its inhabitants. But all commitment is of no use: the entire sol system with all its planets as well as billions of people is swallowed by the swarm. Shortly after, the battle rages for the home of people. Thousands of spaceships attack the protective screen that protects the sol system. The umbrella still holds, but its collapse is to be seen
