Synopsis
This publication illustrates the 92 new works on paper, which Raymond Pettibon has made in 2011 for the exhibition Looker-Upper. Politics, film, sports, sex, and the American way of life are subjects that inspire and engage Raymond Pettibon. The strong association with comics inherent to his works is consciously chosen by Pettibon. He uses mainly Indian ink, and many of his drawings remain monochromatic. Colour is added with crayons or watercolours.
