About the Author
Trained as a veterinary surgeon at Magdalene College, Cambridge and began writing about pets and their care during 1976. David has written several books on cat care and contributes regularly to various specialist periodicals on the subject. He is involved in a consultative capacity with the US-based Pet Information Bureau and the Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council as well as with the European-based International Pet Trade Organization. He has kept cats for many years and is actively involved in rehoming programmes.
