Synopsis
"Attention, attention! Here is the broadcasting station Berlin, in the Vox House. On wave 400 metres. With these words, the director of Funkstunde Berlin, Friedrich Georg Knöpfke, initiated the first official radio show in Germany on October 29, 1923. 100 years have passed since then. In the field of design, a variety of tasks have been differentiated that had not existed until now: the design of reception devices, apparatus in the broadcasting stations, the new building type "TV tower", visual concepts and forms of mediation, mascots, brands and scenic equipment of TV shows or the design of functional sounds and jingles that go down to the world of computer games.
