Ralf Moser studied Business Administration and Epistemology at the University of Mannheim in Germany. He then joined SAP AG as a software programmer in 1988, developing programs for Financials. From 1990 he was the Development Manager in the area of Product Cost Controlling (CO-PC), contributing significantly to the areas of target costing, product cost planning, inventory accounting, actual costing, controlling according to areas of responsibility in production, multiple currencies, and valuations in inventory accounting. During this time, he provided various customers with support for the planning of their solutions, and supervised new developments for strategic customers. In 2002, he headed a project for the development of a new business architecture for all of Financials. He is a founder member of the 'Business Solution Architects Group (BSAG)' at SAP and through this channel has been able to turn his hobby into his career by advising SAP customers on business architecture.
