Peter Michael Haas, born in 1951, pianist and keyboard player in different rock, fusion and jazz groups, composer of film and theater music. Heavily influenced by the music of Astor Piazzolla and Dino Saluzzi, it was first later in life when he discovered his love for the accordion, the tango and hot, improvised folk music from all over the world. International concert tours with the singer Karsten Troyke and with the "Vaci-Utca" duo; his own ensembles: "Trio Milonga" and "Trio Neuer Tango Berlin". His accordion method books "Spiel Akkordeon" (Play Accordion) and "Akkordeon Spiel" (Accordion Playing) and also the song book "Akkordeon Go East" reflect the influence of the accordion in world music and have found many enthusiastic fans beyond Germany s borders.
