Synopsis
Despite their varying subjects, Suigimoto's series of works all remain clearly consistent both conceptually and stylistically and he always uses the same camera - a wooden American box camera from the 19th century - and keeps the setting constant. Shot exclusively in black and white, his photographs are distinguished by their tonal range and their quiet contemplative atmosphere. Includes biography and bibliography.

Otherwise, this is a solid, tight, clean, Very Good+ copy in a Very Good dust jacket, which has light bumps with thin creasing to the spine ends and corners, a small chip to the head of the front hinge, some faint rubbing to the covers, and slight edge wear with a few short closed tears.
