Thomas Ruff still remains one of the most conceptually radical photographers to come out of the Becher School of Photography at the Kunstakademie Dusseldorf. Along with his teachers, Bernd and Hiller Becher, and his fellow students Gursky, Hutte and Struth, he is internationally recognised as a reviver of German art in the 1980s and 1990s and much admired for his contribution to international photography. This catalogue shows his complete works from 1979 - 2001, including his latest series, Nudes, that has caused much discussion and controversy. Beautifully illustrated throughout including an illustrated biography and bibliography.
